Pierce Man Survives After Being Pinned Under Car
Severely injured Pierce man Wester West, 45, of Pierce, Yolo Harconly, escaped freezing to death Saturday night after being trapped under a wrecked car near Greeley. He suffered exposure, a dislocated hip, and a deep leg cut. Doctors at Greeley Hospital said he will probably recover. West was driving from Greeley to Pierce when his Model A Ford skidded north of the Blev Fifth Avenue bridge, struck a telephone pole, and slid into a barrow pit, pinning him inside the car.
