Central High Career Fair Set Thursday
The Greeley Central DECA Club will host a Career Fair from 1 to 9 p.m. in the Central gym. Students and parents are invited to meet 31 local business representatives offering opportunities requiring only high school training. Each booth allows visitors to browse in any order. A chili supper at 6:30 p.m. will be served by home economics classes, which also provide babysitting.

Police foil encampment after tip for narcotics party in Corona
In Corona California deputies heard of a large narcotics party via telephone. They surrounded an encampment on the hills and approached quietly. Deputy Gary Davidson moved forward to inspect the site and found no Boy Scouts camped for the night.

Colorado Road Toll Reaches 73 In Traffic Death Toll
A young woman and four men were added to Colorado’s traffic death toll, raising the total to 73. Rachel J. Glueck, 28, of Denver, died five miles west of Silver Plume on Colo 6 after a two-car crash. Donald Edward Dawde, 27, of Breckenridge, sustained cuts and bruises. Earlier, Felix W. Wonder, 35, of Commerce City, died when his car collided head on with two others in Adams County.
