A coroner reported that a 10 year old girl Mary Melovich shot herself yesterday after dining with family. In heat of moment she retrieved a small caliber rifle from a bedroom and died at the door to the dining room after firing.

Aged Denver resident Margaret Kedite Leslie died aged 85. The obituary notes her son Robert Capen and daughter Mrs. HL Capen of Eaton. Funeral services are planned for Thursday at 2 oclock at Olingers in Denver. Burial details and dates are to follow.
Anson, Colo Feb 22 Claude K Boettcher father of kidnapped Charles Bouttcher II tried to keep an appointment with the kidnappers near Derby Cole. He said two automobiles followed him and he abandoned the attempt. Detectives in Denver and New York are tracing a letter to Boettcher that may tie to the ransom plan.
