Founders Day Observances Across County Towns
Social notices report Big Bend P. T. A. Founders Day program with about 150 attendees including teachers and students. The event featured "The Return of Washington" play, a Greeley Methodist quartet, a candlelit birthday tribute, and remarks on extension work and local P. I. A. history. Other items include Mizpah Club husbands party in Platteville, Clara Schiebel birthday dinner in Gill, and several school and PTA activities celebrating Washington and Lincoln anniversaries.
