A bridal dinner event honored the bride-to-be Isabella Churchill and her fiancé Kent Shaffer. Attendees included Miss Dorothy Haynes and Helen Phillips, with music by Dorothy Haynes and Mrs EB Philips. Streamers and French bisque miniatures decorated the room, while guests enjoyed an impromptu program and festive favors.

Creelys new building ordinance passed by the city council changes fire limits repairs and other regulations. The final publication will appear in tomorrow’s weekly Tribune and the ordinance is printed in full on the last page for every householder to read.
Julius Grodesen a Dane long settled in Greeley earns his living as a shoemaker. In summer he fishes and enjoys the outdoors, while in winter he paints pastoral scenes from mental images. At 68 he has several paintings exhibited at Mallett's shoe shop where he works part time.
Evana Feb 7. After more than fifteen years apart Isaac Riddle family members plan a San Diego reunion as Mrs Riddle and her two children join their navy ship carpenter husband and father. The eldest daughter is about twenty and the youngest sixteen. A Congregational Brotherhood meeting is set for 6 30 this Thursday evening. Mr and Mrs D B Gray and Mr May Fitzpatrick host a dinner party tonight. Mrs Moille Hall of Boulder visits Mr and Mrs George Venables. Hall is Venables sister.
In Hillsdale New Jersey Pastor William Burd of the Methodist church introduces a Boys Whistling Club. Twelve front-seat youths rise as the organ plays Onward Christian Soldiers and perform a biblical yell encouraging Stand Up for Jesus and Wonderful Words of Life.
Denver court orders Secretary Pearce to accept Central Realty 1912 report and $5 fee. Hundreds of delinquent corporations risked fines. Pearce accepts non delinquent reports while noting lax laws cost the state about 1.5 million dollars. Ernest Morris represented Central Realty in the test case Ruling hinges on 1901 law repeal and new penalties.
Longmont residents boycott Northern Colorado Power by switching to kerosene lamps after ongoing litigation and injunctions. Over 160 electric light customers disconnected service following a call to cease patronage, signaling street protests and a shift to old-fashioned lighting as the city presses its dispute with the utility.
Mrs T Gossett hosted the No Trump Card club for an afternoon gathering with plans to tally season scores. The losers will treat the winners to a Valentine’s Day dinner at Mrs D H Scott’s home.
The annual stockholders meeting of Greeley Irrigation Company is postponed to March, to be held at the offices of Kinsella and Moses. Notices have not yet been sent for the new date. W. E. Kinsella serves as secretary.
Mrs. Mary A. Wheeler, mother of Charlies H. Wheeler, died at her daughter’s home in Colorado Springs after years of ill health. A Greeley resident for four decades, she was 92, widowed early, survived by three sons and a daughter, with funeral services planned in Colorado Springs and burial in Linn Grove cemetery, Greeley. Public screening of Kissimmee Valley and Florida coast photos by Weaver & Sill set for Saturday night at the district courtroom.
The Eaton Local No. 213 Farmers E and C Union adopts resolutions condemning the Eaton Commercial club for sending a representative to Washington to refute testimony before the beet sugar investigating committee. The resolutions accuse the Commercial club of collusion with industry interests and ignorance of facts, calling for publication in local papers.
The Estes case jury selection continued with 99 men called. 88 challenged or excused, 11 remaining. The prosecution waited while the defense sought another 50 veniremen, hoping to fill the panel.

Postmaster D. E. Gray and the entire office staff attended a birthday dinner at his home on Tuesday. Mrs. Gray and Mrs. May Fitzpatrick hosted with decorations in national colors and red carnations. A seven course meal for twenty five featured hand painted place cards by Ruth Gray and Bo Townsend, music by Frieda Taylor, and a gold watch fob presented by Leoma Hunter on behalf of the staff. George Funck shared the birthday date as a guest of honor, and Mrs. Gray sang after dinner. Mrs. Liyed Ayres of Sterling visits her mother Mrs. E. A. Stites.
Four coy leap year girls in Greeley reportedly will marry four members of the Greeley Bachelors' club. The secretary says 23 members have heard four proposals, though who made them remains a mystery amid a club already at capacity with a waiting list.
In Evans on February 7 two inexpert drivers aged 10 and 12 steered a runaway horse toward Evans instead of home. After a mile or two the horse calmed and was caught in front of the Evans post office. The boys remained on their seats and were not hurt.
At a Windsor stockholders meeting a five member board was chosen to incorporate the Windsor Creamery with $10 or $5 per share as discussed. The Hastings Industrial company builds the plant. costs may exceed $5,000 due to changes. A manager with butter making expertise is sought. no stock value or name yet.
The Ault Pioneer club met with fifteen members present yesterday at Mrs. B. J. Garner's home. Afternoon games included flinch and juice refreshments were served. The next meeting will be with Mrs. Fred Grafe and the day’s hostess plans the afternoon program.
