Twenty five men registered for land drawing in Gooding County Idaho under the Homestead Act. The irrigation project covers 60 000 acres with water available for 40 080 acres and a total value of about six million dollars. Buyers pay 45 cents per acre with 1 25 per acre for entry. The drawing awards first choice on land to successful entrants, with parcels up to 160 acres. LaSalle toddler badly burned in washing machine accident
A fourteen month old girl in LaSalle was severely burned after she pulled the plug from a washing machine into which boiling water had just been poured. Doctors hope to save her life as her older sister returned from school and nurses treated her extensive injuries.
