Christmas Party Highlights VEW Auxiliaries Fun
The VEW and auxiliary held a family Christmas party at Brannaman hall with in charge led by Walley. Children performed recitations and group singing under Mrs. Ben Murray with piano by Mrs. Elmer Shake. Diana Dudley and Jo Ann Smith danced while Joyce Shake played tuba and Ann Smith and others showcased acrobalance. Santa appeared, distributed treats, and the next gathering is planned for January 10 at the hall. Mr and Mrs Eddie Mack of Denver visit relatives at 1927 Tenth Avenue. The secret marriage of Mrs Cora Craig and David H Fuller was revealed at Christmas Eve at Rev Merle G Allen’s First Presbyterian church. Witnesses were Mr and Mrs Glenn Chan ner. Mrs Fuller works at Sweetbriar. Winnie Jo King announced engagement to Darrell Huilt. Miss King will wed next summer. Miss Jose George, daughter of Bernice George, is spending Christmas vacation at home. She will return from Kenosha Wis on January 6.
