Rabbit Show Opens Here Early in January

The Gracley Rabbit Club hosts a winter show with entries due by January 3. Fees are 60 cents for each specimen, 15 cents for does with litters, and 25 cents for exhibits in fur sale. All animals must be tattooed or permanently marked and entered by midnight Friday. First prize 26 percent of entry fees, ribbons for multiple places, special prizes from local breeders, and free rabbit sandwiches during the show.

Three Fined In Police Court For Minor Violations

Three defendants appeared before Judge W. BR Adams Friday night. R. BR Reed of Bleree received $1 and costs for violating a stop sign. F. F. Widick of Stretton was fined $15 plus costs for drunkenness. Mayin Brenner of Greeley paid $1 and costs for a similar stop sign violation. An adoption petition was filed by Mr and Mrs Jamen Devshan of eastern Weld County seeking adoption of Ennico Bwaanay as the girl's parents state they cannot provide a home.

Catholic Missionaries Safe After Reds Capture

Dec 27 report from Kiuklang China states 34 Catholic missionaries captured in Kiangot province were massacred at the Catholic mission in Kian. Information says leaders were freed yesterday after capture October 6 as nationalist forces drive operations rout insurgents.
