New Albany Indiana December 21 Mrs Pearl Armstrong is charged with killing her husband by systematically giving rat poison and strychnine over four days to cause his death to “have a good time.” Police found carbolic acid capsules and poison containers at the Armstrong home and were guided to them by Florence Harrie a 16-year-old resident. The girl testified Armstrong urged the husband to swallow poison pills and that on Sunday he took more capsules and strychnine.
