Museums Receive Gifts and Exhibits For November

November gifts to the Municipal and Meeker Museums include the Meeker Massacre book for children by Overhouser and Patten, photos from museum files, a Evang school photo by Mrs. Ed Lott, and items from the C. H. Young family such as a round hat plumes case and papers. Gifts from Maurce Burbridge include decorated eggs. Siberian dog gloves bought in 1801 and ice skates from Mary Trail Sr. valued at $2. Attendance reached 825 for November with student groups visiting. a Doll Show is planned for January 17. Mrs. Helen Larson retires January 1 as Meeker curator. news from both museums provided by Mrs. Laurence Clark.

Yule Card Sales Save Mission School

Pala mission school in northern San Diego County announces a sold out run of 100000 Christmas card reproductions, 25 cents each, drawn by American Indian students. Colorado Air Guard Feeds Indians Mission to Farmington

The Colorado Air National Guard flew a charitable mission to Farmington New Mexico delivering about 7500 pounds of food and clothing to Navajo Indians on the Navajo Reservation. It marks the first Four Corners relief effort since prior December 1967 mercy missions amid heavy winter snows.
