Judge Grants Move To Strike 142 Names From Frederick Ballot
Judge Benjamin Wondeack Tuesday allowed H. Crist attorney to remove 142 voter names from the Frederick precinct portion of a contested election complaint. The action narrows the case in which Crist, on behalf of A. William Tansem ne Arle, challenged the Frederick count that left Fred Farid ahead by 89 votes for commissioner. Trial set for January 18. The judge said the suit previously listed 143 names, but many were Americanizations or questionable. The remaining six names include Tommio Chiady Nicola Marat Clecarelli Maria Di Santis and several Di Paolo and Cercone family members.
