Richard Carroll of Ault, a longtime farmer and stockman, died Monday at Gosley hospital at age 76. A native of Canada, he came to the United States as an infant and lived in Ault and vicinity most of his life. Survived by his wife Mag Myrtis Amie Carroll and nine children, 38 grandchildren, and great grandchildren, he was a member of the Greeloy Elks Lodge. Federal arrangements are with Armembrong Mortuary.
President Foanevelt today signed an agreement restoring quotas on Cuban sugar imports.
