Northern Colorado farmers plan pest law to curb grasshoppers
In Greeley the grasshopper convention on January 6 will discuss a district pest law drafted by District Attorney Carlson. Two Boys Bag Four Geese Near Ault
Carl Sanborn and Harrison Woodruff, two Greeley youths, bagged four geese near Ault last Sunday. One goose weighed about fourteen pounds, a monster for Weld county. The trophies were shown to Denver Press Club members during a Camfield hotel dinner.

Improvements Complete At Lower Latham Reservoir
McCarthy and Donovan finished three months of work on the Lower Latham reservoir. A six foot concrete wave wall surrounds most of the basin with sheet piling at the spillway and a wall above it. Total cost about 36000 dollars. the dam is raised and two miles of wall added to hold about 200 million cubic feet. Seepage is expected to be largely stopped.
