Christmas crime dampens Greeley shoppers season
Two incidents at the Greeley Mall darker the holiday mood. A 74 year old shopper was knocked down and robbed of $180 by a youth in a brown windbreaker while a 96 year old Estes Park woman, Jeanette Wicks, used a stolen card to buy $20,500 in goods, sprayed mace during pursuit, and was jailed for investigation of fraud.
