Christmas Musical Fetes Women’s Association Event
The First Presbyterian Church Women’s Association held a Christmas musical in the sanctuary with an evergreen and silver decor. Mrs Ben Kinney played an organ prelude and Mrs Merle Overstreet led an impressive memorial service, with officers installed and about 50 women participating including Mrs Thomas Musick as president and Miss Antoinette Guiraud as recording secretary. The program featured carols, solos, violin pieces, and the Spirit of Christmas in a sequence of readings and musical numbers. About 100 guests attended the covered dish luncheon afterward, with thanks given to several members for their service.

BRP Members Elect Officers at Tea House Meeting
BRP members gathered at the Tea House on Wednesday afternoon and held a will exchange at the Soper home revealing secret sisters. Frances Shenwood elected president, Florence Winslow vice president, with Zella Bright as guest. Eva Winslow attended with her mother, Mrs. Bright resides at 1602 Tenth Street.
