Redding Injured As Drill Falls On Him at Work
Robert Redding 24, of 917 Fourteenth Street, an employee of Ott y ar Well works, was seriously injured Tuesday when a heavy drilling drill fell on him during a navigation well operation near Adiguat Moser. He suffered a fractured right shoulder, punctured right wrist, and injuries to his left leg. The accident occurred after a chain wheel broke, allowing the equipment to drop. Attending physician says he has a good chance of recovery.

Sharlen A Moore, 89, Denver used car dealer, and Robert Van Matre, 9, Greeley, appeared in county court Wednesday on a complaint of passing a worthless $79 check at Louis Liquor. Moore claimed no account and said Van Matre offered to help cash the check, while Van Matre asserted he believed the funds were good. State witnesses testified to the plan to defraud. Alva Knight fined $100 and costs for drunken driving. Betty Mitchell fined $10 and costs as an accessory.
