Mrs Forbes and Mrs Jones urge city support for a new dog shelter as the current facility declines. They note neglect by owners causes most problems and plan a weekend fund drive at the Greeley Mall to raise funds for an $80,000 shelter, with only about $1,800 raised so far.
No Greeley service stations will be open this Sunday though not mandatory by law. Owners are complying with President Nixon's request to close voluntarily on Sundays until Congress passes required legislation. Some will also close at noon Saturday to conserve fuel, as most stations had been closed Sundays since last summer's gas pinch.
Judge Hugh H. Arnold granted two dissolution of marriage decrees. Mrs Angelina L Lujan of 313 N 9th Ave and Theodore B Lujan of 310 ath Ave were issued, with custody awarded to the mother for the minor child. Also listed are Mrs Barbara Lee Frohling of 2120 5th Ave and Robert E Frohling of 1718 30th St.
