Missing Boy Hid Himself In Basement
A 10 year old farm boy, Robert Holtz, vanished Thursday while bringing in milk cows near Galeton. About 50 people searched the area Friday, and ~100 worked Saturday in bitter wind 35 to 45 mph. The youth reportedly hid in the basement of his home all along, surfacing only at 12:45 pm Saturday. Sheriff Welsh planned plane aid, but conditions prevented flying. Police and local neighbors from Kitt’s Posse, Percé, Evans, and Greenley Department aided in the relentless search.
