Fort Lupton Farmer Dies in Fort Lupton
Charles Bangert Sr., 72, died at his Fort Lupton home after a prolonged illness. Born in Germany in 1864, he immigrated to Dover in 1883 and to Fort Lupton in 1908, engaging in cattle farming. He led the Joces branch of the state Grange and served on the local school board. Survived by his widow and four children, including two daughters and two sons, all of Fort Lupton.
