Santa Claus visits Greeley crowd greets him at park

In Greeley on Saturday a crowd of about 2000 welcomed Santa Claus as he appeared at the bandstand in Lincoln Park. The event, arranged by the Greeley Chamber of Commerce, drew many families and children. Lorene Carpenter, daughter of Mr and Mrs Carpenter, told Santa what she hoped to receive, though she was briefly frightened as he held her in his arms before returning her to her mother.
