Warner Signs Closed Shop Pact On Green Mountain

Denver Aug 22 The Warner Construction Company and American Federation of Labor unions reached a closed shop agreement after a six week strike at the Green Mountain dam project 120 miles west of Denver. Freight Train Collision Injures Work Crew Near Glengood Springs

In Glengood Springs on August 22, four workers from a Denver Rio Grande maintenance crew were injured when a west bound freight train collided with their railroad motor car on a curve in Clenwood canyon. Three men Wayne Hannen, G H Brown, and B D Courter sustained severe hand injuries from a fall while jumping to avoid the impact.

Mrs Laura Tisdel Dies in Moffat County Colorado

Mrs Laura Tisdel 68 a farmer resident of Greeley died early Monday at Sunbeam Colorado in Moffat county where she and her husband Kent A Wisedel operated a cutter business for over 20 years since they left Greeley. She was born in Pillistel Ay and married in 1901. Survived by husband, four daughters Mrs Haves Brown of Tivaits Alden Chatel of Yanni Cela Jung Tales of Suniun nel Mra Erman A. Werner of Ethield Hale, and several grandchildren. Diversion Water Exchange Basis Of Poudre Plan
