Fire Destroys Filling Station East of Kersey
A filling station east of Kersey burned to the ground shortly after 4 a m Sunday caused by suspected defective wiring. Water was directed into the gas lot and neighbors helped prevent tank explosions. Owner Percy Daughtry saved two mattresses a piano and an electric refrigerator. Mrs Daughtry and the children were visiting relatives.
