Indian Skeleton Unearthed Near Shark's Tooth Site
A skeletal remains of an Indian was unearthed Wednesday along the Poudre valley between Greeley and Windham near Shark's Tooth. The skull was exposed by irrigation water on the Dave Sehmidt farm and found by Ault and Herman Sehmidt who alerted Deputy Theodore Tegtman and Guy Ralinger. Arrow heads and an ax blade were recovered and kept by the finders. The skull and artifacts were taken to the sheriff's office.
