Three Die in Same Crash West of Denver
Three people from Morrison died in a three car collision on U S 8 near the US 6 and 40 junction west of Denver. Mrs Parker died at the scene, Ruth Hobbs and her daughter Mary Kay Hobbs died in hospital within an hour and later. Investigators said Parker swerved onto a shoulder when a passing auto cut in front of it, was hit by a westbound car, spun, then struck by another westbound car. All passengers in Parker car survived.
