Greeley Schools Tapped For Satellite Education Project
Greeley School District Six is a tentative site for an educational television demonstration via satellite. Dr. Robert Tewksbury says the district will host early childhood development and vocational education components and could become a finalist among eight Rocky Mountain state districts. The satellite, set for April 1974, will operate in geosynchronous orbit about 22 000 miles up to bring educational programs to geographically challenged regions and test new audience feedback methods. The federally funded project requires districts to provide TV sets, a site coordinator salary will be included if approved.

Younglund denies grazing capacity statements in Grassland debate
State Rep. Walt Younglund of New Si ymer denied remarks claiming seven to eight times current cattle could graze on the Pawnee National Grassland. Credit to women bill advances amid Senate debate
In Denver an amended credit to women bill HB 1128 moves to the Senate calendar after a House version was altered. The Senate panel removed marital status as a factor prohibition, kept sex as a factor ban, and changed penalties to allow lawsuits up to $1,000.
