Four injured in city traffic mishaps report
Weld County General Hospital treated four people after three traffic incidents. William Joseph and Jay Downer, both 20, sustained head injuries from separate bicycle falls on 9th Street near 8:30 pm. A 9-year-old boy, Greg Johnson of 3329 4th St. Rd., was struck by a car near 1st Street and 71st Avenue Court and released after treatment. Gloria Cantu drove the car that struck him. At 9:30 am, Dorothy Ruh of Briggsdale and Nancy Klingerman, 21, of 1821 14th St., collided at 16th Street and 14th Avenue. Klingerman was treated for minor injuries. Klingerman’s car was valued at 900 dollars in damage. other vehicle at 200 dollars.

Easter Egg Hunt Rescheduled at Hill n Park
The Easter egg district hunt for kids 12 and under was postponed by Milliken Volunteer Fire Department and will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Fire Station No. 2 in Hill n Park two miles south and a half mile west of the Greeley Elks Club. Bond plan outlines new elementary and middle schools
The plan calls for a combined building of about 69,000 square feet costing roughly 2.17 million dollars with a pool, gym, and separate administrative areas. It would replace Prospect Valley and Keenesburg facilities, ease crowding at Weld Central Junior Senior High, and shift kindergarten to fifth graders to the new elementary or Hudson.
