Portuguese Bend Calif 1A A eye surgeon carried out a 23 minute underwater eye surgery on a bat ray named Charlie at an aquarium. Dr H George Hinschel attended eye surgeon at Luna Angles General Hospital osteopathic unit with surgical nurse Pat Patterson as diver. Both wore masks and oxygen tanks during the 22 feet deep procedure.
