Weld County business leaders push a county fair project in Greeley with D J March leading outreach. Plans call for 25 000 in funding and 3000 in stock subscriptions, aiming to attract farmers and businessmen and generate enduring revenue for a future exposition.
The article notes rumors that the Home Light Co will hire for street lighting per a city contract made over two months ago and alleges a suspected tie with the Northern company, claiming no installs have begun and that arrangements exist to lease from the Northern octopus.

The town will pursue a street grader and curb shop closures.
The grand matron of the Eastern Star Mrs. Hogs of Telluride visited Windsor Lodge for an official event on Saturday night. Mrs. R. B. Hanna hosted the matron during the visit. A new member, Mrs. Thelles, was initiated at the meeting. Mrs. Hogg inspected lodges around the Horn and traveled from Fort Collins to Windsor and then to Greeley.
The street supervisor Milton Seaman delivers a seven year summary of city street work in Greeley. Since 1902, nine to ten miles annually graded, fourteen miles gravelless, total costs around 47 216 45 with property owners paying about two thousand seven, city funds covering rest. He had been employed on Morse and Cuyler’s ranch near Farmers Spur and leaves a father, mother, a brother, and a sister. He was a brother in law to T. E. Stone of Greley.

Tonight marks the last meeting of the old council and the first for the new in Greeley. A modern city hall with a large council room stands ready, yet residents have shown little interest, leaving council sessions sparsely attended. Citizens are urged to attend to show support for better city government.
