Huge State Land Sale Scheduled by Board on Wednesday
Denver April 6 the state board of land commissioners plans the largest sale of state school land since 1920 to auction 12 720 acres at the capitol on Wednesday. Lands include 10 080 acres of dry farming land in Kiowa county with parcels in Baca Whert Huerfano and Moffat counties. Minimum prices range from 0 to 22.50 per acre, average 10. Purchasers must be US citizens or have declared intent, pay 10 percent down plus costs, and the balance over 30 years.
