Republicans Discard Apportionment Plan

Governor Love indicated no agreement on Colorado congressional districting this year after a plan split Denver with Adams County for a Democratic edge was quickly opposed. A fourth district could stretch from the Four Corners to Loc­k Denton, and Love urged action before May nominating time. He said representatives in Congress would be chosen, possibly at large, and favored a session around April 1 with one week’s notice.
