Denver Milk License Area To Be Extended

Washington April 2. A major amendment to the dairy act will extend the Denver milk license area and add precincts in Araphoe Jefferson and Broomfield to expand the sales territory. A second amendment requires that producers receiving surplus milk prices for 30 days must accept 80 days of the higher price. A third amendment revises price divisions, creating new class 3 and class 4 for milk based on Chicago wholesale prices with specified differentials.
