Nine Killed When Plane Crashes Near Dickson Tenn
A Langley Field Langley Va TB-25 bomber crashed eight miles south of Dickson Tennessee en route to Memphis. Nine persons were reported killed with two survivors describing an explosion at eight thousand feet. Lt. Gol. King Matthews of the Tennessee Air National Guard confirmed nine deaths as five bodies were recovered.

Six Die In Three Colorado Auto Crashes
Six people were killed in three separate Colorado traffic crashes, raising the state death toll to 37 for the year.
