Fats Win Sensational Ball Game in Gravity
The local diamond hosted a four hour battle between the Fats and Leans with a final 38 to 33 score in favor of the Fats. Mayor Brookman started play, J S Francis pitched for the Fats, Swede Barkley led the Leans, and Gar Savage was fined for running to first base on the first strike. Proceeds went to the Gravity band and a rematch is planned after the Leans recover and the Fats regain wind.
