Arthur Clabaugh of New Market announced Friday his candidacy for county supervisor, term starting January 1, 1937, seeking Republican support in the June primary. The county board plan now divides into three districts with one supervisor per district, voters electing a resident from their district for a three year term. Clabaugh, a former supervisor, campaigns actively through the primary.
Prof. T. R. Hefley his wife and son Arlo along with Miss Edith Cox and Lyman Yost spent Saturday in Indianola and returned that evening. Miss Cox continued to Ames to visit her hospitalized mother and returned Sunday evening.
Mesdamea John Fuller and Jennie Steele of New Market attended the Rebekah Installation Thursday evening.
