Israel Samuel Straw 79 retired farmer died Friday at his son Vern Straw’s home in Spaulding after a week of illness. Born November 29 1860 near Gravity Indiana he lived near Afton since 1909. Survived by seven daughters five sons two brothers and a sister. Rev F D Reeves conducted the Creston Congregational church service with burial in Holt cemetery north of Creston.
