Gravity Echoes of Early Merchants and Town Life
A reminiscence in G. Le Brookman style recalls gravity’s first merchants S F Taylor and T J Davis, John Chitty’s shift to Main and Fourth, a harness shop, boarding house, and Kate the landlady, plus a water-well feud and a cyclone of brash antics. The piece blends town lore with growth, featuring old trades, roads, and a forthcoming continuation.
