The Sherard well on the Ginnis dome was spudded Friday and the drill progresses toward the Ellis and Quadrant sands. The Ginnis dome is regarded as a perfect structure and production is confidently anticipated, with testing to proceed over a short period unless unforeseen delays occur.

Montana Receives 48000 in U S Survey Funds

The General Land Office allocated part of a 699600 appropriation by Congress for the survey and re survey of the public domain. Montana is listed among the districts receiving funds, with Nebraska and South Beet also included in the distribution.

Robber Gang Broken Up in Wheat Land Area

Harlowton Sept. 27 Authorities issued a search warrant at Judith Gap for a rooming house owned by Edward Burgee. Tenant Berry alleged teacher of the gang and accomplice Buck Jewell were arrested. Berry taken to Lewistown jail and Jewell held at Stanford. A large quantity of merchandise believed stolen was recovered and investigators seek to determine how much more was disposed of by the gang.

Wyoming Wreck Death Toll Still Uncertain

Casper Wyoming September 29 fatalities remained unresolved after 48 hours with three bodies recovered from the bridge crash site. Rescuers toiled as sand streams rose again and found the bodies of EB Klove brakeman Casper W Nourse Gunnison and Albert Hill Dodge City Kan amid wreckage of three cars and a locomotive into Coal Creek Thursday night.
