Town Council approves Main Street improvement district
The Town Council met in special session last Monday night to hear remonstrances to the proposed improvement district aimed at grading Main and intersecting streets. A large majority favored the plan with 129 pro-improvement lots versus 27 opposed. Only C A Kennedy and Mr Adams protested in person, Kennedy deeming action premature. Regular monthly council meeting scheduled for next Monday.
