Ford Motor Company telegram announces price rise from $90 to $100 on all available Ford cars effective Friday February 22. Dealers urge customers to buy at once due to ongoing price adjustments and limited stock.
At the Fergus County Union of the American Society of Equity annual meeting in Lewistown James F. Arnold of Forest Grove was chosen president for the ensuing year. George D. Dyer of Denton was named vice president and L. O. Battey of Rosa Fork secretary treasurer. A series of patriotic meetings across the county over two months was authorized with local farmer speakers.
Governor Sam V. Stewart announced the Montana council of defense membership with nine appointees plus ex officio members the governor and the commissioner of agriculture and publicity. The farming trio are O Donnell Sansburn and Peck. other appointees include Donoghue, Logan, Kelly, Lease, Campbell and Mrs Thompson. roles span farming, business, and public service.
