Montana Wheat Is Looking Well
Helena March 15 Winter wheat in Montana is in fine condition per reports to state agriculture chief Charles D Greenfield from nineteen counties across the state. Slight damage from late February winds occurred in four counties but no winter-killing damage is reported. Some areas report seed oats and spring sowing shortages plus a prospect for a large spring wheat acreage. Government spring-seed loans total 1 700 295, with Hill county receiving 476 200 and Chouteau 233 365, Valley 213 325, and Toole 169 500.

Cottin Sentenced to Death in Paris Court Martial
Anarchist Emile Cottin was sentenced to death by the Paris court martial for an attempted assassination on Premier Georges Clemenceau. The verdict was unanimous after prosecutor Captain Mornet pressed for the death penalty citing premeditation. Cottin proclaimed himself militant anarchist and declared his country to be the world, praising Bolshevism and Spartaism.

New Powerful Motor Fuel Gains 10 MPH For Airplanes
Washington reports the bureau of mines announced a new motor fuel named hectar a benzol cyclohexane blend that adds about 10 miles per hour to airplane speed. It costs roughly $1 a gallon and is not yet seen as practical for commercial use. Another benzol gasoline mix shows greater power than gasoline alone and may have industrial value.
