A damaging hailstorm affected Grass Range gardens with later rain easing conditions.
Newt Tex Jackson and Charles Jarrett were arraigned on charges of robbing the National Bank of Roy on June 13. Bond set at 15000 each. trials not expected until October as the court plans no regular jury before fall. State witnesses include Fred Stevens and Sheriff Woods among many others. The two defendants pleaded not guilty and are jailed pending trial.
Mrs. Charles Cobbey and three Omaha children arrived at the Amos Snyder ranch just before a severe Monday storm. Miss Carrie Giacomini, aunt of Mrs. L A Snyder, came from Lewistown on Tuesday. They plan to spend most of the summer at Becket and praise the ranch’s condition.
Sunday June 18 round up visitors from Roundup Wibaux and Grass Range travel through on camping and fishing trip to Flat Willow. Hugh Bowman and wife visit N-Bar and a county commissioner candidate is named. A Lewistown lunch report at the Kynnsky Club is mentioned with local social chatter.
