The Novary school held a Friday afternoon sale on December 9 to raise money for Christmas. Despite inclement weather, the sale cleared $15 and drew generous patronage with cake and coffee served. Prizes for best bread baked by pupils were provided by Mrs. Bolles, Mrs. E. K. Cheadle, and the school, won by Elizabeth Mets, Elva Schrader, and Florence Johnson. The school also won $5 in prizes at the Central Montana air event in Lewistown last September.
