Mrs. R A Bridges of Billings crawled into an 18 inch den opening to depths of 16 feet and retrieved ten wolf pups and the dead mother after her husband shot at a wolf den. Four cattle and other livestock had fallen to wolves in Bull Mountain. Sheriff Matlock issued a $40 bounty.
