Water the essential daily nutrient for every body
Water is the body's most needed nutrient and has no fat or cholesterol. The body loses fluids during activity and heat, with about 10 cups daily typical. Humans do not store extra water, so an ongoing intake of 8 to 12 cups daily is required. Food contributes to daily water intake.
