Candlelight prayer rally honors nation at war memorial
Grand Saline residents gathered Wednesday at the Highway 80 war memorial for a candlelight service sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. The event featured the pledge led by Horace Wilson, prayers by Reverend Lindsay Ray and Pastor David Yarbrough, scripture readings, and a reading of Psalm 35. Jeanne Ann Lea also read a poem titled The Spirit of the Towers. The service closed with Taps by Kyle White and a final prayer.
