CAP-IT program funds partial grant for youth auto class
Colacino led grant efforts for CAP-IT Communities and Police Intervening Together. The program will receive 16000 dollars of the 64000 requested to fund an eight week auto mechanics course for five to eight youths at the Van Zandt County Youth Multi-Service Center in Grand Saline. Charles Willis will teach the class three hours daily five days a week. Zajac calls it a heads up effort to redirect at risk youth toward a trade and away from delinquency.
