Carroll Reunions Mark 60 Years Apart at Corinth
Under Corinths oaks beside the church a Carroll family reunion drew 96 attendees on Sunday July 21 with 85 descendants of the Jason Carroll line. A treasured 1894 family Bible held a clipping from the earlier 1894 gathering. The Jason Carrolls eleven children are listed and eight families attended. out of state guests from Ringling Oklahoma Hineston Louisiana joined in the meal and a short meeting set the next reunion for the third Sunday in July. A fund was started to buy monuments for Grandma and Grandpa Carroll graves.

Saturday services were held in Lubbock for J. A. Gunn former Edgewood resident who died suddenly of a heart attack at his home. Burial followed in Rest Haven Mausoleum. He was brother in law to Mrs. Learborn Jones with several Edgewood families attending. Over 350000 people commute to New York City daily.
