The Van Zandt County Cancer Crusade begins April 2 aiming for 600 with coordinators needed across the county.

Texas Highway Commission awarded a January contract for enlarging Brady Gentry Roadside Park in Van Zandt County Tyler area. Athens Lumber & Supply Co. won a $297071.71 bid to install two comfort stations sewage disposal system water line arbor units and area illumination on Interstate 202.5 miles west of Van. Sidney C. Cox Canton and W. W. Potter district engineer oversee the project expected to take about 120 working days.
