Grand Saline ISD board facing bond plan concerns
During a called meeting citizen Sidney Shoemake challenged the board over the bond plan for a new high school, arguing the cost share and scope have shifted from the original 79,000 square foot plan. He urged returning to the prior plan and questioned the use of a $1 million reserve. The district notes the reserve is part of the general fund. A town meeting is set for December 13 to discuss the project.
