Brookshire's Food Store in Grand Saline expands its Adopt-A-School program joining 174 schools nationwide for the upcoming year. Store director Ron Elliott notes the thrill of serving students and staff while Sam Anderson cites the long running effort since 1987 and expects the year to be the best yet with volunteers offering tutoring class tours speakers and drives to aid needy students.
